This concept is foreign to Democrats and Liberals. "Personal Responsibility" is not in their vocabulary. This train has already left the station. The only recourse left is for the Supreme Court to strike down the individual mandate and/or a GOP supermajority to defund it.
Americans who are imprisoned undeniably have the right to health care when they get sick. It's even FREE! Why can't law abiding, hard working people, some who may not make enough money for health care, get needed health care without the threat of bankruptcy?
Health care isn't the gov't business. I would rather see gov't support health care so all can have coverage that what I see going on in my neighborhood. Hurrican Irene struck every house got hit. Some houses it is an ungoing thing. Some houses were dumps haven't be remodeled or updated in 60 years. They all have nice new everything from granite countertops to hardwood floors. Subsidized by our gov't. Some of these houses every 3 or 4 years they are getting hit. Gov't can help people to fix their houses but we don't want gov't to help save lives. Something seems wrong.
Then do tell how the government is supposed to get out of providing the cost of medical care for people who it has imprisoned????
Don't. Let 'em rot. I can barely afford my own medical bills. Why in God's name should I pay someone else's frickin' medical bills? Good God Almighty! Give it a rest!!!
OR...............start a damned charity and pay their bills yourself. I'm sick to death of it.
