I'd say fox is the most watched news channel, however, I think that is because most liberals, democrats, moderates, split what they watch between cnn, msnbc, etc. I actually get most of my news from news sites that more or less just report the news like politico, ap, reuters, etc. I really don't need someone telling me how to think, Imma big boy I can usually figure it out. I think the worst outlet to get your news is from highly biased pundits. For example I get news from fox all the time in the afternoon that is, if anything, just slightly bias, but usually pretty good. However, if your daily news dose comes from hannity, beck, boortz, your not getting news at all.
