Just so we're on the same page, you do realize that people abroad (and progressives at home) are disappointed because he's not liberal enough, right? I realize that the RWNJs have been portraying Obama as the second coming of Marx since before he was sworn in, so this may seem confusing, but by world standards he's a conservative. Most of the civilized world has moved past silly debates like helping the poor and giving everyone equal rights.

PS Germany is considered more liberal and socialist than the US and last I checked their economy is buoying Europe. Also last I checked the liberal blue states in the US are the only ones making money and having good employment rates in general. So keep attacking the northeast and northwest all the while the sun belt and the south "GOP Jesusfunland" keeps sending our country into bankruptcy.
