Amazing how energy companies can get these people to carry their polluted water for them. You can make these people believe anything if you have Glenn, Bill, and Rush all scream together in unison
I guess you've never read anything about geology have you? Because if you did you wouldn't be making such a dumb statement....

There have been accusations by the environmental crowd on this subject BUT NONE HAVE BEEN PROVEN.

If America had a dollar for every accusation that the environmental crowd has made over the decades that turned out to be based on ignorance and stupidity.............

And why is it with almost every post you make you bring up Beck and Rush? Just what do they have to do with the OP?

Odanny while fracking *may* have exacerbated the situation this was an issue before the fracking. That I know from relatives that lived in the area, it's first hand knowledge.

The "area" encompasses several states. If fracking is allowed in the Marcellus Shale, around 18 million people around NYC could be affected. You can't drink water with natural gas added.

Smart states like Vermont are checking the vultures at the door:

Vermont first state in nation to ban fracking for oil and gas

Oh, and don't forget, the Deepwater Horizon disaster has not done any lasting damage to the Gulf, either...

Fracking causes small earthquakes in Arkansas. They haven't caused any serious damage.

Scientists will say anything, left or right, for a couple bucks.

The only area I'm aware of where they have both fracking nearby and burning water is Dimcok, PA. It's a very small town, the fracking is quite extensive in other areas extending up to hundred miles and there is no issues. It's an isolted incident that is natural occurrence.

FYI, seems this area of NY has same issue:

Bristol, New York - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The region was visited by the explorer Robert de LaSalle in the 17th Century in order to see a burning spring (natural gas) known to the natives, members of the Seneca tribe.

Fracking, Texas style! I like it, support it and have land that may, yet be fracked. With or without fracking, it's being looked at very shortly, perchance to bless a lot of folks.

North Dakota, hats off to you, too!

We need true Oil Booms in more than two states.
