direct government employment means nobody to actually pay for it.

not to mention the loss of money to the social service programs, because if it comes down to choosing between current government jobs and providing for the "needy", the current government workers are going to pick saving their own jobs.

that is human nature and you can count on it.

one government problem solved, and a new one springs up.

maybe someone should tell this administration that you need an actual working private sector to be able to fund anything that the government wants or desires.
