In the eyes of the government we are all terrorists.
"The Federal Aviation Administration on Monday began to explain the rules of the sky for these newly licensed drones at potentially dozens of sites across the country. The agency, on its website, said that government "entities" will have to obtain a special certificate in order to fly the aircraft, adding that the FAA is "streamlining the process for public agencies to safely fly (drones) in the nation's airspace."
In doing so, the government is taking a tool that has become synonymous with U.S. counterterror warfare in countries like Pakistan and Yemen -- and putting it in the hands of U.S. law enforcement."

Law enforcement has been using those things for awhile now and so have oil companies, insurance companies and dozens of other concerns, even private citizens like ranchers and farmers. Their use started long before Obama took office.
All the FAA is doing is issuing flight rules, at the behest of those users. Air space is crowded and everyone needs to know what's allowed in the name of safety and what's not.
Y'all can go off on another conspiracy jaunt if you like, but drones are here to stay. There's no closing that Pandora's Box.

What a shock you ankle grabbing for your government yet again.
I don't know if they would really do this or not. But on some show today, they were talking about these dang drones. Do you know that if your in your own backyard, and you have a bag of fertilizer. That dang drone will take pictures of your home, the address, and you with the dang bag of fertilizer. Then they send a helicopter over your home. They can watch your home for up to three months with this dang thing. I did not like that.
What i did not like, is they determine what they think your going to do with this bag of fertilizer. You could even be jailed. What the hell is this crap.
What i did not like was, that they said, that this drone can go over anyone's home they wish it to go over. And they said, this i said holy cow, they have cameras in the drones, that can actually see people in the home. Come on now, really, how can this be if it is night and the blinds or shutters are all shut. Would it be a special camers or infrared.
There are people who really don't care about it. They think the government is worried about our safety LOL
I've been called unpatriotic for opposing the Patriot Act. That's how brainwashed people are.
