A society that can only wring it's hands in helpless frustration, and then, effectively 'reward' this type of reprehensible behavior ... has clearly lost it's moral compass and is now 'reaping the whirlwind' for crippling its own ability to deal with this type of destructive behavior.

And what will such a society now reap? -- Probably 75%+ of these children will grow-up in abject poverty, raised in single-parent homes ... by people to whom 'bad decisions' and dependence on social welfare systems are already an established lifestyle. In a few years, many of the children will drop out of school and enter a street culture that leads to crime and drug dependency ... taking their place in our nations prisons; ... and themselves making similarly poor 'breeding' decisions.

The only real way to stop or slow this type of destructive behavior is to eliminate the 'reward systems' and attach a stigma and penalty that forces people to 'pay' (in one form or another)---for choices and consequences that are now simply 'handed-over' to society for others to 'pay'.

Of course, such decisions will not be considered 'politically correct' ... nor help our politicians get re-elected .... so, the problem will simply continue to be handed down from one generation to the next.

The only thing is, there are more forms and combinations of birth control than ever and abortion is legal and we've got more children being born into welfare handouts than ever.

Somehow it's not linked with birth control, it seems more about the ease of getting welfare handouts as a reward for irresponsible breeding behavior.

At an average of nearly 3 children with each of his 11 girlfriends I'd say that the woman are equally if not more responsible for this situation. After the first child with this man they knew what to expect.

Sadly, this is the real-life manifestation of movie, Idiocracy.

I can't believe so many people in this thread think the mothers of these 30 kids are more responsible for this awful situation than the guy who fathered them all! The guy is a scum ball who needs a few lessons in using condoms at the very least. The mothers aren't too smart either BUT to say the guy was a victim who got "duped"---that's crazy talk! He's had 14 years to educate himself since the first child was born and he keeps right on breeding more.

Yeah right. Duped. Although extreme, this is not an isolated situation. My friend is a plant manager for a manufacturing company. There are several low-level, low-skilled workers that have 15 or more children. One guy, in his early 20s, has 23 kids. He brags about it every time he fathers a new one. He makes $10 an hour and has zero skills. He, along with the others co-workers who have multiple children, think that it proves how much of a man they are. It is a lot easier to use this measure of manhood as opposed to actually proving you are a man by working hard to support your family and act like a role model to your children within a committed relationship.

Why would 11 women let this loser father nearly 3 children each? He didn't get duped but neither did they. The people who got duped are the taxpayers who will be billed millions of dollars to support this irresponsible behavior. It's sad because these kids are set up to fail. There is little that can be done to instill proper parenting values in either the mothers or the fathers of these children. Most likely these children will end up at some point in the custody of the state.

It's always possible if birth control was used, it was sabotaged. Or mothers of his kids were just leading him on, planning to use him for their own gain.
