Have terrorists won? (generations, weapons, 9/11, cost)

Do you think terrorists have won?

Fear of: Planes, mass transit, circuit boards, forgotten luggage, anyone dressed arab-like, tall buildings, being in DC, white powder.

Not allowed to: Take anything liquid on planes, no plastic knives, no leaving shoes on for security screening.

Police can carry automatic weapons. NSA can wiretap you without a warrant. People speaking arabic on a plane can be kicked off.



So, do YOU think terrorists have won?

I think the terrorists are winning, not because of the above mentioned reasons, but because of the huge deficit and all it's implications, this expensive war that will still cost future generations. The terrorists won't have to do anything other than sit back and watch it all unfold...it will take a long time to recover from the damage.

I don't know if they have "won", but they sure have won the fact that our country is so divided now. I mean, what more could they want? That's gold.

it isnt about the terrorists winning, it is about other issues and why the terrorists hate us, and I was afraid of tall buildings and Airplanes long before 9/11, and that white powder stuff was from someone in the states, most likely an idea from someone out of Bush's camp (probably Karl Rove)
