Asking questions is "attacking"? Pointing out discrepancies is "attacking"? Trying to keep people from not getting killed by revealing and insisting on the truth is "attacking"?

Just because someone is in the military and has the ability to blind me with the light bouncing off their countless medals does not place them in a position of moral infallibility. The media lies. The government lies. The military lies. And people die as a result.

Call the other 72 senators who voted and ask them why they don't care about the truth or about your life, ask them why they wasted their time (paid for by us) to draw up a resolution opposing a newspaper ad. Don't they have better things to do? um.. like stopping our government from going bankrupt fighting a useless war that only endangers us.

As the poster above stated, it is all nonsense in MHO...although I never would agree to the "h" part.

As I read the names of the 25, I recognize several with whom I generally agree, and in the case of Senator Bingaman (NM) who I helped elect, I support many of his positions as a former NM resident.

I wonder if we should start congressional oversight review into all advertisements. Not a bad idea, right?

I think congress should stop making non-binding resolutions. Waste of time. I think it's appalling that they feel they have the time to make these resolutions when they haven't fixed...

Social security
Immigration
Medicare
Deficit

Etc...

Agree with previous poster's comments. This is an attempt to distract the public from real issues. bush called the ad "disgusting". I don't remember him denouncing the ads run against Max Cleland, a triple amputee veteran from Georgia, nor did he repudiate the ads run against John Kerry by the Swift Boat Veterans. I can't remember the last time I disagreed with Feingold. He was my choice for president.

Those drug commercials can be misleading. They were talking about that yesterday on All Things Considered on NPR.

Great yet another thread of the same variation of distracting from the discussion of the incompetent war policies.
