I read it on another thread somewhere...someone said it wasn't jesus, or god who preached hate and intolerance...just so called mixed up "deciples", who haven't the brain power to figure out that love and compassion are more important in life than hate and distrust
As far as I am concerned the Christian church gave up any semblance of legitimacy when they became part of government in the mid first century. Selling indulgences and the Inquisition did not add to their credibility. IMHO the church of Christ was captured by Mammon centuries ago and has not changed since. Even the Protestant Christians spend more time worrying about money than souls because they never renounced Mammon. They are just as corrupt.
Calling for the execution of a mass of people for any reason is not the work of Christ but the work of your Devil. You should throw this monster out of your church if you are going to retain any semblance of rationality or Christian mercy.
The Bible says people should be punished and put to death for lots of things that no one seems to care about nowadays. Anyone in retail, food services or anything else that has them work on a Sunday should all be put to death then according to the Bible.
People like this are why religion is a joke to me.

They're not actually Christians, nor do they believe in the faith and values shared by Christians. They're hate groups who masquerade as persons being religious. Such persons should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
