Imagine. If you get charged for doing something harmful that makes your baby die. OR perhaps just ill or mentally deficient at birth. You can't be charged for fetal alcohol syndrome. At least, not that I've seen. Woman Not Guilty in Fetal Abuse Case
We can't give a fetus or unborn baby the same right as everyone who is actually born and living seperate from another human being. That's the bottom line and people keep trying to punch a hole in that. It doesn't work.
How come people who support abortion don't protest laws that allow people who murder pregnant woman from being charged with two counts of murder? How come a human life is just a "parasite" if the mother chooses to end it's life - but it beomes a human being if the mother is killed?
Pay attention Republicans.....it's all about the fetus after all.....we need to crack down on industrial pollution for the good of fetuses in this country.

Just how far are we going to take this?
If we are going to hold the mother responsible for fetal health, then we also need to hold the government responsible for pollution that harms fetal health.
Or......maybe we should put pregnant women in "gestation centers" for the duration of their pregnancies........so everything they eat, drink, touch, breathe can be tightly controlled......ya know.....for the sake of the fetus.
