That's utter nonsense. It weakens the economy to have any able-bodied people dependent on government. The Dems are for increasing educational opportunities for marginalized populations and creating more opportunities for upward mobility. I can't believe people actually swallow without thinking, that ignorant, obviously partisan mud-slinging quote.

The term "people of color" was invented by people of color themselves. It has nothing to do with who is employed and who isn't.

Yes, I agree and I greatly resent that. Why can't we all just be people and a person like MLK wanted?

So I did. Why didn't he say whites on welfare should leave the plantation then?

Gosh, OP, that's a given.
I don't know about that.
Its always the Dems who support programs like financial aid and encourage college.
Republicans don't ,so I think its fair to say Republicans want to keep minorities down.

Gosh, OP, that's a given.
I can only wonder how this could be construed as a racist remark.

Asians, blacks, Indians (both), Arabs, Samoans etc, all are classed as 'people of color.' Only whites get their own special category according to the lefty purveyors of the term 'people of color.'

The widespread adoption of this term by the left speaks volumes about the racist perspective thereof, and dovetails well with Rep. Walsh's point.
He mentioned two races of people so I said people of color.

You didn't say where I was mistaken. You just pulled out the dusty old thesaurus and proceeded to post.

It wasn't. It was a slam on Democrats. Maybe he was right, maybe wrong, but the "raaacist!" histrionics are misplaced in the OP.

I don't think she needed to direct you to your mistakes. She just gave you advice on how to not make the mistake again.
