I know I would be a lousy parent , so I decided to do the world a favor and not be one.

Golly by not having children one could probably retire by the age of 50.
Retiring and no amount of money would make me give up the happiness on so many days my kids and I shared. Sure they are expensive but what the hell else would be worth that money. Plus I imagine when you are not so strong having someone who loves and owes you might not be so bad either.

But, but, but.... what are you going to do the next 30 some years of your
life.... At 50, I'd say unless you really hate your job, retirement might get old, very fast.

If one lives in a prepaid college fund State, start the fund at birth

Weddings - just go to the justice of the peace.
No need to spend a fortune for one day; unless you really just want to burn money; just another modern brainwash; it's a give me your money scheme.

Having no children pretty much means a lonely older life.

To each his/her own.

[to have or not have children is a question that should be answered by oneself and no other]

Oh, please, that's just so ridiculous. If you(general) need kids to not be lonely, then you obviously have a problem with associating with your peers in general.

Quite selfish to expect your kids to keep you from being lonely.
