I find it rather odd that conservatives are opposed to illegal immigration because it costs this country jobs yet approve outsourcing jobs overseas? I'm a Republican but like Lou Dobbs I disagree with my party and conservatives regarding U.S. companies outsourcing labor overseas. That is costing us just as many jobs and I find it hypocritical that conservatives are so opposed to illegal immigration because it costs our coutry jobs yet are perfectly fine with companies outsourcing labor and costing Americans jobs? I remember George W. Bush supported outsourcing on the basis that it opened up world markets and led to improved relations with foreign countries.

I'm a conservative and I'm not "OK" with the millions of jobs that have been outsourced over the years and never have been. I would like to see as many as possible brought back home.

I'm with CB above. Keep our jobs at home, stop the illegals from crossing the borders and send all the legal aliens home who come here with work visas. We don't need any of them here in the US now that there is a shortage of jobs.

Hows that ?

Globalization and the screwing of the American Worker is a Bi-partisan effort and the one issue both sides of the aisle seem to agree.

The signature at the bottom of NAFTA is William Jefferson Clinton.

The question is why do Republicans tell their constituents the truth about their positions on these issues and democrats lie?

Diane Feinstein D CA is like a pitbull in her protection of the H1B visa. I think she would be a mortal enemy of Lou Dobbs. Billary is in bed big time with the Indian recruiting companies that lobbby for more H1B visas so they can make billions placing slaves here in America while our Engineers and programmers flip bugers and mow lawns.

It's not just the job...its the friggin' drain on the economy resulting from taking care of them all. As to outsourcing, I think just about everyone would like the jobs to stay here.

I dont approve of either. But I also think we need to give business a reason to stay here also.

I am probably more liberal than Nacy Pelosi ever will be, but I am totally against illegal immigration. I strongly oppose it. Why? Because it is illegal immigration. We don't need more non-skilled people here. We already have enough we need to take care of. However, I am in favor of the H1B visa. I don't have anything against highly skilled people who actually contribute something to this country.

I don't knowwhy so many people try to tie illegal immigration to the Republicans. Why would a Liberal want them here? Why would a Liberal want Americans out of work and give the jobs to illegals I most certainly do not!

AZ, so far you have about 9 conservatives who disagree with you.

Could you please post a link showing all the conservatives who approve of outsourcing. It would help your creditability.

Thank you.
