When reading the news article notice that the news, King's death, is one sentence. The article goes on for a full page to describe an incident that happened twenty years ago or so. King was wrong to run from police who in turn beat him wrongly. However, King was well compensated for this injustice. Just what is this article trying to say? Announce the death of King or stir the racial pot.
Rodney was strung out on PCP when he was beaten. Everybody wants to shed a tear for him, yet where is the sympathy for Reginald Denny. Denny was savagely ripped from his truck and had his face caved in with bricks and almost died, all the while driving a truck trying to make an honest wage. Where is the pity for the small business owners , who had a lifetime of dreams stolen and vandalized? I'll remember who the innocents and true victims in this case really were!
