The Democrats are always working hard for the common man The hateful Republicans on the other hand are on a mission to destroy America.

Obama has really done a lot for the common man lately, lets see: The US has a 15 trillion dollars debt, unemployment on the rise and now this amnesty program, which will probably add another one million non-Americans to the unemployment roll.

Once again, that's their job. Perhaps it was reaction to the circus that was the Democrat controlled White House, Senate, and House from 2009-2001. Maybe a little less ram-rodding of their agenda and a little more cooperation would have paid off following the 2010 mid-term elections when the American public fired so many Dems.

Debt that was due to Bush and the tanking economy he left for Obama,
Unemployment because of greedy banks, not Obama's doing.

Those people are basically Americans and have grown up in the states and are in college and/or the military.
No sympathy for you on that point.

Shame on you Republicans. Putting our nation in harms way for political power.
I'm under the impression that staff and/or government employment - as related to Republicans (and/or Democrats) - is at capacity. Otherwise, there are probably as many Democrat as Republican business persons who may or may not be hiring or spending personal wealth or corporate funds on expansion.

Should Obama become a one termer due to his administration's lack of friendliness to business is more his problem than that of the man or woman who makes the investments in growth. And as Congress was controlled by Democrats for four years and the Senate for the last two, you can hardly blame Congressional inaction on Republicans. Or lack of a working budget.

Similarly, I always wonder why the Democrats are trying to destroy America, by supporting the Free Trade and Globalization that destroyed the working Middle Class, by increasing taxes on earned income to the point that taxes and living expenses wipe out the discretionary income that fuels the economy, and by imposing so much regulation and taxes on small business that both job creation and upward mobility are impossible.

Most of America is disgusted with Washington, and rightfully so. We hope for the candidate from "our" political party to win, and then we wonder why nothing changes. We explain away the problem to ourselves with the idea that the opposite party has "refused to compromise" and is being obstructionist. It takes many, many presidential elections before we start to recognize the truth: that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party have fused into a single party--Big Government that serves Big Business.

Those who were willing to give Obama a try (after all, experienced politicians never change anything) have seen the worst that politics and government have to offer. We got all the bad of previous presidents (wars and corporate bailouts), as well as disastrous new experiments that sacrificed pillars of security for doomed "free ride" slights-of-hand (Medicare slashed to pretend that Obamacare is feasible).

We already fell for the false promises of our inexperienced, ideologically radical current celebrity-in-Chief/President. We have seen zero economic progress over a long period of time (other than the "bumping along the bottom" we have seen for decades now), with no reason for improvement in the future.

Shame on Big Government Republicrats that ignore the fact that many Americans want to go back to our Libertarian small-government ideals. And thank you Ron Paul for showing us that the answer is sitting in Washington, only to be ignored by a Republican Party that is identical to a Democratic Party that serves itself, Big Business, and nothing else.

I'll bet it felt good to get all that off your chest!

Nice rant.

If I had to pick the lesser of two evils as you point out, I rather have Obama. Romney seems so out of touch.

How about the 30+ bills sitting in the Senate going nowhere on obama's orders?

The economic Wreckovery today is a result of obama's policies.

Remember now, obama wanted the economy, he said to give it to him. He said if he couldn't turn things around in 3 1/2 years, it'd be a one-term proposition. The head of the DNC said the dems own it.
