No. It was part of the Eastern Block but not the USSR itself.

Not true? Not important? I am curious.
I would really like to know if those people want to trade their system for ours. I have heard no such thing. Thanks.

Maybe it is time to cut out the for profit insurance industry

If they didn't want to fix the problem then they shouldn't whine about being left out of the process by people who actually HAVE the courage to address the issue.
Congress had been too cowardly to tackle the problem for decades. Obama prodded them to actually DO something.
The GOP only cared about making sure that Obama was not successful - that's it. They didn't care about the problem, they didn't want to try and FIX the problem, they ONLY cared about making sure Obama didn't fix the problem:

"MCCONNELL: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."
Mitch McConnell: I Want To Be Senate Majority Leader In Order To Make Obama A One-Term President | ThinkProgress

Now that the problem has actually been addressed, the GOP is whining that were "left out".

Either lead, follow, or get out of the way.

Ken

Not this way.
There were other ideas out there, and still are, but apparently lack of being controlled by the big government isn't listened to.

The GOP wasn't invited to the backroom meetings.

I wonder if they were offered bribes like some of the D's that voted for it that weren't going to.

If they were it seems like no one was biting as McCaskill & others did.

Hmm. she's sitting out the Dems Convention this year it seems.

Not wanting to draw attention to herself I would think.

Good thing the ACA doesn't do any of that. Who tells you when you are allowed to go to the doctor, except the doctor?

Again, the GOP controlled both the White House AND BOTH houses of the Legislature for 6 years and did NOTHING about the issue - they didn't even BROACH the subject. Clearly they didn't even CARE about the issue and just plain wanted NOTHING done AT ALL. If they wanted to fix the problem - even THEIR way, why didn't make any kind of attempt while they controlled both the White House AND the legislature?

The answer to that question is they didn't WANT to fix the problem. Apparently they liked things just the way they were. They didn't want INPUT into the process, they just plain wanted to STOP the process - no matter WHAT it was.

Again, THIS is all they wanted:

"MCCONNELL: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."

That's it. THAT was their whole agenda.

Ken

So, you expect the doctor to tell you when it is ok to see him?
