You dont know? Because they said that government couldnt force you to take part in commerce. But the Supreme Court said this isnt commerce, its a tax, and as a tax, it must be PASSED IN THE HOUSE FIRST.

Something I've been saying here on cd for OVER A YEAR.. That it IS A TAX, but its an illegal tax since the Senate passed it first.

Thread isnt about Romney.. Romneys opinion on the issue doesnt change the Constititon, nor does it override the Supreme Court.

Really, seriously, it's not that hard to stay focused. See if you can manage.
Yes. Don't bring up a similar situation that set precedent for the Affordable Healthcare Act. Romney is trying hard to distance himself from himself!

Wrong, because states can mandate you buy a product or service, like insurance to drive a car.. Havent you ever learned the difference between states, and the federal government?

They arent even close to similar situations.

So you are saying that the Republicans did not consider the mandate a tax. Therefore according to the Republicans, "it was not always a tax."

Romney, Gingrich and many other republicans were for a national mandate before it became Obama's idea and oppostion became mandatory.

There are plenty of other taxes in it besides the "penalty".
