Why did the Republicans believe the Affordable Healthcare Act was unconstitutional and wanted the Supreme court to rule on its constitutionality, again?
You dont know? Because they said that government couldnt force you to take part in commerce. But the Supreme Court said this isnt commerce, its a tax, and as a tax, it must be PASSED IN THE HOUSE FIRST.

So you are saying that the Republicans did not consider the mandate a tax. Therefore according to the Republicans, "it was not always a tax."
It's not tax no matter how many times that's parroted. Ok, lets for the sake of argument say it's a tax. 98% percent of people WONT BE PAYING IT. Those that will have the choice to not pay it and get insurance. Romney, Gingrich and many other republicans were for a national mandate before it became Obama's idea and oppostion became mandatory.
There are plenty of other taxes in it besides the "penalty".

Thread isnt about Romney.. Romneys opinion on the issue doesnt change the Constititon, nor does it override the Supreme Court.
