This evening on the special from July 4 a Democrat Representative from New Jersey named Andrews made a statement that just drove a spike through the hearts of most elected politicians from both sides. He said that if you are wanting to vote for someone ask him a question that has only a yes of no answer and if he/she starts the normal run around the flagpole tell him to move on and vote for someone who will answer you directly. This man convinced the group of citizens he was talking to that voting for him would be the thing to do. Never have I heard a politician put so much heat on his peers and if you listen most of them just don't answer truthfully with yes or no or what they would do.

If I were in that man's district I certainly would vote for him even if he is a Democrat. He is an honest man and if anyone who reads this is from his district please let me know.

The show had 8 freshmen Representatives on who, of course, were Republican since nearly all the freshmen in the House are Republicans. They talked about some bills that had as many as 400 votes in the House and never got a look in the Senate. 400 sounds pretty bi-partisan to me and Harry Reid won't even give them a look.

I applaud Harry Reid for not giving these Republican bills the light of day. 400 pieces of partisan garbage is not worth the value of tax payers' dollars.
