Tea party defending racism and traitorous secessionists

Quote:
Bitter words are being exchanged between the Las Cruces mayor and the city's Tea Party over a parade float.

The float prominently displayed a Confederate flag.

Mayor Ken Miyagishima is upset about the flag's placement on the float.

"The Las Cruces Tea Party can believe whatever it wants, but to have this symbol and what it represents," he said. "Highlight the winning float at a celebration of our nation's independence is an outrage."

I am not surprised. Teabaggers are some of the most anti-American people in the country. They don't have any respect for this country and the progress we've made as a nation over the years in civil rights.

And some people will still claim that the Tea Party is not a racist organization. Anybody that still displays a Confederate flag in this day and age is a scumbag racist, spare me the stupid Southern pride and state's rights crap, everybody knows what that flag really represents.

Maybe not a big deal to me. New Mexico has about as much Confederate History as Vermont.

Well the 4th of July honors treason to King George to begin with. Who are you loyal too? The Constitution or King George?

It's a slap in the face to the USA to raise a flag of a secessionist movement that tore this nation in half, and to do it on the 4th of July!!!

These guys hate America
