No one has a right to ***** about a CEO salary that was earned outside of taxpayer funds.
Union existence is enforced by government violence, and once one is in place a worker cannot opt out without losing their job and neither can a taxpayer opt out of a portion of their tax bill going to fund the public sector union racket.
Doesn't sound very voluntary to me.
And the tax payer money to banks and other corporations was voluntary? Understand these execs made fortunes for running their companies into the ground and tax payers bailed them out. and you complain about unions.... Where is your fervor for the taxpayer?

It's a simplistic view but am I wrong here ?
What's nauseatingly simplistic is an alleged news source comparing the nationwide average of the cost of apples with the two most expensive oranges in the country and having people silly enough to believe it relavent.

Uh, I specifically stated "outside of taxpayer funds".
I consider bailed out CEOs and public sector union thugs as equals in their theft of taxpayer money.

Oh it's not as off as you might think.
I'm sure you recall Texas in the news with the education budget and the slashing of jobs, closures of schools, etc. in the past year.
But those ISD superintendents didn't get hurt too bad..they are still making $300-$400K per year.
And Texas is non-union. Teachers make $35K-$50K while their bosses rake in $300K.
There's 1%ers all over the place if you look hard enough.
$400,000?? That's all??? It does sound like a lot of money, but the big huge problem with the right complaining about this is that when CEOs make $400,000,000 their response is along the lines of "Good for them" "They deserve it" and any remarks that that may be a bit much is meant by accusations of envy and class warfare

I'm not surprised. These union bosses demand higher salaries for themselves and toss a bone to their members. Unions have a long history of corruption at the cost of the average union worker.

CEOs aren't paid with government tax money (public school teachers are paid by our taxes and their pay goes to the unions).
