More Left propaganda.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
An animated video produced by a California teachers union uses the crude imagery of a rich man urinating on common folks to decry what narrator Ed Asner claims is rich people’s refusal to pay their share of taxes.
The crude footage is part of a “Tax the rich: An animated fairy tale,” an eight-minute video written and directed by California Federation of Teachers’ communications director Fred Glass. In it, Asner describes a mythical land that seems to represent the U.S. and how it financed its services. He says the rich sought to evade taxes and put their money into “Wall Street” – yet another clue to the real identity of the storybook country.
“Don’t worry,” Asner says, speaking for the rich. “This is good for you, too. Because it will trickle down from us to you.”
How is a teachers' union qualified to raise this issue when THEY urinate on poor kids and parents?
He's "trickling down" on them.
Honestly, I saw the video and it is actually very well done plus it makes several excellent points.
Ed Asner is an uber liberal ass, and always has been (he is also a "has been" actor). He disgusts me, and so does this kind of propaganda being taught to our children.
Liberals deride the term "trickle down" because they haven't a clue how an economy works. They are Keynesians, and do not believe in free markets and "supply side" capitalism, which is the only system that ensures maximum economic growth and freedom, and has been responsible for lifting more people out of poverty than any other system in the history of man.
Government meddling in the economy has always produced more problems than it solved (did it ever solve any?).
Have you heard Rachel Maddow's praise of "demand side" economics? What an idiot that woman is! One of the stupidest women in the world! But this is one of the people that Democrats idolize. They are ignoramuses. Yet they claim to be smart. They don't know squat!
The schools, Universities and the media are the Gate Keepers.
They make sure we are brainwashed to believe.
And what "excellent points" would those be? (I'm sure we'll get the usual clichés.)
The liberal lie is that the wealthy didn't earn their wealth, but got it by not "playing by the rules", or by some exploitative scheme to fleece others through fraud and deception.
It doesn't occur to liberals that hard work and dedication to ones passion in life can result in creating wealth, that when invested (in other businesses, which helps them to grow) can further increase ones wealth (my father used to call it, "putting your money to work").
It doesn't occur to liberals that the Wall Street firms they despise are what finance many upstart businesses. Companies such as Fairchild Semiconductor, which gave us so many advances in chip and device technology (Intel was a spin-off), required investors to finance their growth. Had it not been for investors (people taking risks with investment capital), we would never have seen such rapid advancement in computer and micro chip technology. Apple Computer is another example. Do you think Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were wealthy enough by themselves to finance the growth in Apple? They were just "geeks" that loved computers. They had both left Hewlet Packard to start Apple, but they didn't finance themselves!
Liberals love the benefits of investor capital giving them goodies (and jobs), but bite the hand that feeds them when they support a president like Obama who seeks to destroy the "golden goose." They do this out of pure ignorance. The sad part is that they refuse to inform themselves, but buy into the propaganda, and then spread the lies to others, poisoning future generations, and leading to a society in which achievement is punished. That is where we are now.
This is an excellent point. They are only interested in propagandizing kids to become liberal lackeys like themselves. If they were interested in their education, they would be teaching them to think, and not feeding them the horse manure selected for them by the elites.
“Tax the rich: An animated fairy tale,” and that's what it is, a fairy tale.
