I didn't vote for the man and likely will not when he's up for re-election. That said, I am happy Haslam is not totally bending to some of the far-right whackadoodles in his own party. Don't they have better things to do in their lives than worry about whether politicians share their irrational phobias? This is embarrassing for the fiscal conservatives particularly in well-to-do Williamson County who probably don't want to be aligned with these hateful loonies.
