the US does not allow a minor that young to renounce his citizenship nor is there anything a third person ( parent, step-parent etc ) can do to affect that citizenship.
also obama was never eligible for indonesian citizenship for multiple reasons (bold):
A foreign citizen can apply to become an Indonesian citizen with the following requirements:
- being the age of 18 years or older, or being married
- when applying, having resided in Indonesian for a minimum of 5 consecutive years or 10 non consecutive years
- physically and mentally healthy
- can speak the Indonesian language and acknowledge Pancasila and Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945
- never convicted of a crime for which the punishment is imprisonment for one year or more
- if having Indonesian citizenship will not give the person dual citizenship
- employed or have fixed income
- pay the citizenship fee
there is no ban on foreign students attending school in indonesia. birthers confuse the indonesian law that all indonesian children must be allowed access to school with a foreign student ban.
and it's just that, a baseless rumor. there has never ben a US travel ban on pakistan. here is a NYT travel article on pakistan from the year in question, 1981:

i know, but that's what i find so fascinating about birtherism and the depths of cognitive dissonance.
NCN is a great example of this. two of her main points, indonesian citizenship and pakistan travel ban, can be easily and conclusively debunked with the simplest of web-searches without the need of any subjective assumption or speculation and yet............ these two rumors have persisted for the past 4 years!

It seems since the Maricopa County Sheriff Department held a July 17th press conference on their investigation into Obama, everyday something pertaining to Obama's birth record controversy is hitting the press or is being discussed on radio talk shows. This full page expo is the latest example. It is precise and to the point and it brings up good points to think about. It is well put together for the average person to understand and many readers will see it. The truth is out now since the confirmed forged birth record made available on the White House server indicates that Mr. Obama's true citizenship is now in question since he has no valid legal birth document to rely on. As Maricopa County Sheriff Department CCP Investigator Mike Zullo said "It's time for this charade to stop". I agree. Obama needs to release his 50 year old original paper birth record and microfilm of it so a attestation can be performed by independent forensic document experts. That is the only way this can be cleared up. As of now, this ad will invoke scrutiny against the president who claimed he would be the most transparent president in history.
i've always imagined that if the heavens opened up and god came forth and proclaimed "yep, obama was born in hawaii." the birthers would counter with "obviously that's A god but how do we know it's THE God?"
