Couple of things...

First, what do you mean by "less big trucks on the road?" I'm in the trucking industry and I can tell you that there are plenty of them on the road in California.

Second, you do realize that without those "big trucks on the road," you wouldn't be able to buy food, clothing, all the electronic gizmos you're so fond of, etc., right?

There's a saying - "If you've got it, a truck brought it." It's absolutely correct. Have some respect. Oh, one more thing. Let them in when they need to change lanes. It's hard enough to drive a truck in a crowded city without a bunch of a-holes refusing to let them into the lane they need to be in to get where they're going.

60-80% of welfare recipients are Democrats, while full time Workers are evenly divided between parties.

You have similar results in this recent NPR Poll.

...It appears that once more common sense is right and the impression left by the New York Times wrong. Indeed, people who live off the government disproportionally support Democrats.

I've meet him, not as much of a "country boy" as you'd think from the song.

So you mean to say, that all across the country, all these so-called "welfare-collecting Dems" are deliberately choosing to live in the most 'red' and conservative parts of the country (and that despite their numbers, apparently they're also choosing not to vote in those places either)?!

Choosing to live there? What makes you think they weren't born and raised there?

Read the Swedish economist's article. He cites his sources. 60-80% of welfare recipients self-identify as Democrats. They vote for whoever will give them the most free stuff, and turn their friends and neighbors into their own personal tax slaves.

Well, dunno about where your 'Swedish' friend is talkin' about, but for a real world example, I retired here to one of the whitest, most rural and conservative parts of California (yes, we do have those!), where I also do a lot of volunteer work with folks on disability, Section 8, SSI, unemployment, Medi-Cal and the rest. And funny how many of 'em still wanna bend my ear complaining about the Guvmint, Nobama, Lib-ruls, Socialists, and all the other cast of 'red-state' demons!!
