Ed Rendell is okay with ten people being killed at a time! (illegal, weapons)

On Hardball earlier today, Rendell kept pressing the issue that we must be limited to ten round clips, sending the message that shooting ten people at a time is okay, but don't dare shoot 100! (BTW...100 round clips are already illegal!)

Gee....I wonder if his security people only carry 10 round clips?

I don't know what this has to do with socialism but if that's your go to argument so be it.

Personally I think that you might be on better footing if you just argued the pointless and arbitrary decision that 10 represents some magic number. It made no sense the last time we went through this and it won't make any sense this time.

Ten 10rd mags ain't a whole lot different than one with 100.

Seeing how the theater shooter booby trapped his apartment, if he couldn't have gotten those guns, he'd have just found another way to commit mass murder.

Heck, he could have just mowed down the whole line of people waiting for tickets.

I guarantee that EVERY highly visible leftie has a security detail that carry loaded "assault weapons" (to use their definition), because they feel that they deserve to be protected.

I tuned in during a commercial while watching "The Five".

I often tune in to leftie TV and radio shows....they are very amusing! The problem is that they refuse to take conservative callers!

So.....let's take the Liberal standpoint and say guns are banned completely.

Of course, since criminals by definition don't care about gun laws, they'll still have guns.

Then someone with a gun comes along and is ready to commit mass murder.......what do Liberals propose they do?

Call the police...right?

Ok - Two things about calling the police to save you:

1) They probably won't get there before the guy empties his clip into a bunch of folks
2) You called the police because????? THEY HAVE GUNS!

Now had one person been armed with a gun, he could have taken this guy out immediately. Or, as some will argue, a shoot out would have ensued.

But...even IF a cop was sitting in the theater, a shoot out would also have ensued. The private citizen may even have been a better shot than the cop.
