Such is life when it comes to this..a government funded public education video on "How to survive a shooter".

How to avoid the Flu
How to prepare for a disaster
and now...
How to survive a shooter

Very sad indeed.

DHS-funded video gives tips to survive a shooter - FederalNewsRadio.com
After last week's shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., the city of Houston has released a how-to video on surviving a shooter event. The video was created with funds from the Homeland Security Department.

Default Big Sis says to run and assume the fetal position

The warning sign for me was at 0:59 on the video where it clearly showed that the building was posted right on the door as a victim enrichment zone (no guns sign). I steer clear of those places whenever possible.

This comes from the same DHS which arms our USBP with bean bag rounds to fight off Mexican Drug Cartel members shooting AK's loaded with 7.62x39 ammunition.

I am not gonna lie to ya: the more I learn about things like this the more I think about homeschooling my kid when the time comes (she is 13 months old now). On top of that I will be teaching her about guns and her right to bear arms.

Some kids I know that went to school in the district I live can't even name any of the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution. To me that is outrageous.

Wow, a clear target, standing in broad daylight. One shot by a CCW would have ended that situation, pronto.

And the stupid evacuee running up to another dude with a backpack? How stupid is that?

Typical government crap. Endless stupidity.

I only watched about half of it.

I hope you do. You've obviously got both the smarts and stamina. Go for it! Your kid will be better for it.
