With 7 billion of us together on this planet now, not every one of us is going to be able to assimilate reality. There are a couple billion very dumb individuals among us. I don't know why there's this great misconception in the USA that none of those two billion live here. There seems to be this assumption that if you run across a dummy here in America, it's the fault of the public schools.
The public schools don't teach anyone to listen to Pat Robertson or Limbaugh.
But they do teach kids to listen to Obama's lies. So yes, they do teach kids to be dummies.
Ironically he probably laughs like the rest of us do at the thought of ancient cultures banging on stuff to scare away the eclipse monster eating the sun.
Yes, it is based on science. Science is developing theories through observation, based on facts and observations. However, evolution is not based on the "scientific theory" because it's difficult to create a 100 million year experiment, but indirect experiments support the overall theory.
