I have to laugh when I read all the posts about how hubristic and unprincipled America is in world affairs.
Murdering monks and burning the Potala, slaughtering their own people at Tianenmen square, censoring the internet, and throwing anyone in jail who so much as looks askance at the government. Wait till the big red dragon is boss. Even Noam Chomsky will want Uncle Sam back.

Someone in Japan slamming the Chinese, now that's a first.
Ye stunned world swimming on Saturday by winning gold in the 400m individual medley in a world-record time. It was her final 100m of freestyle, in which she recorded a split time of 58.68sec, that aroused Leonard's suspicion. Over the last 50m she was quicker than the American Ryan Lochte, who won the men's 400m individual medley in the second-fastest time in history.
She's a phenomenal athlete. By the way, FINA (the swimming governing body) takes blood from all Olympic medalists immediately after their swim and drug tests it. They also retain those samples for 8 years and will re-test them whenever new drug tests are developed.
The Chinese have always cheated at sports and especially the Olympics. At the Beijing Olympics in 2008 it was proven that some of the female gymnasts were underage which screwed the USA gymnasts out of a team gold medal.
cheating and doping have become rampant in sports..all types of sports.
