Totally unexpected !

They are too busy setting up sting operations that can be put in the news while they pat themselves on the back for another terrorist attack averted.

How often and from how many sources do we get these vague warnings.

Seems like this is a case of 20-20 hindsight.

Wow, you're sure easy to please. Don't be so quick to let this go. Direct warnings about specific people from another Government should be taken very seriously, especially when that individual is leaving the US and travelling abroad.

What is the purpose of spending more and more money on intelligence/defense and creating an entire department of Homeland Security if we take no action on all of this new intelligence that was supposedly needed?

The FBI sure seems to have a lot of time on their hands since they are always creating and dismantling terror plots on their own. Maybe they could spend that time stopping real terrorist plots before they unfold?

If ignorance is bliss, I guess you are a happy camper. This was not a vague warning. This is exactly the kind of warnings they should be passing on, especially if they are not going to act on it. Instead they are looking up the rear of every Thomasina, Dick and Harriet.

This blame game makes no sense. So if a crime occurs in Boston the FBI are supposed to turn over the files of every person they had interviewed in the past 5 years. That one FBI field office probably interviews hundreds of people per week. And since the FBI concluded that Tarmerlan hadn't done anything illegal when they interviewed him why would they even think that information was worthy of being given to the Boston police. No one was even remotely thinking the bombing would end up being Russians.

The FBI didn't have all the info on him. His name got misspelled at the airport.
Also the CIA had info on him that they did not share with the FBI.
If they had communicated, which has been the DHS mission for the past 10+ years, then flags would have definitely been raised.

Big Sis and Darkman Holder are too busy hiding gun running, illegals coming into the country and chasing white American Christians and worried about buying ammo to protect themselves from the American public. Why would they give out any information about terrorists to any city. The terrorist may be muslims.
