Joan Rivers created quite a scene at Costco yesterday, yelling through a megaphone that the store is "like Nazi Germany" and will probably start "burning the Bible" next, before handcuffing herself to a shopper's cart. Rivers staged the protest at a California store because, she claims, Costco banned her new book due to a couple racy jokes on the cover. One particularly weird line from Rivers: "This is private property that was stolen from the Indians! The Indians are the original owners of this property!" Police eventually asked Rivers to leave, and she complied, TMZ reports.

If she would have stayed there longer, she would have been mistaken for a mannequin.

I bet plenty of conservatives strongly resent Joan Rivers for not being conservative enough, while ridiculing her for her plastic surgery at near age 80, even though she is a registered Republican.

I did not know she was a Republican. Maybe that explains why she is not funny.

She's protesting in the wrong place if it's about Nazi's. It appears that her plastic surgeon may be a descendant of Mengele.

Joan is very funny and it's her complete lack of political correctness that makes her funny.

That said, if Costco doesn't want to market her book, it's their choice.
