Elenora: I'd be interested in any cases you can cite that insurance companies have done this. Now keep in mind, they can and do deny coverage in some cases why?
If your coverage has lapsed.
If a patient has preexisting conditions that have been previously excluded.
If a doctor is recommending care that is not deemed medically necessary, ill advised, or treatment is not FDA approved. Unfortunately the common folk get involved in this and have no idea what how the whole system works.
My wife works in the health care business and has worked for insurance companies for several years. Denial is not done at the whim of some faceless bureaucrat. If coverage is denied, then the patient can appeal. Then it gets kicked up to a doctor who works for the insurance company, and in many cases they will consult with the patients physician.
Now if you want a better system, who can blame you. But keep in mind, there are a lot of doctors who are treating patients purely with a profit motive, and not in the best interests of the patient. Personally, I'd rather private companies do the work. That way, if you don't like the company, you can change. But if the govt. gets the whole thing, well, there's no shopping for another one of those. Not only that, but if that happens, how you going to feel if they cover one person and not another just because they are the wrong color or the wrong political party? That too will happen.
b. Defines Keynesianism as "spending money you don't have."
This basically says, "i'm a right-wing partisan". Both of these statements are debatable, and neither is a fact.
Obama is Keynesian, but so was Bush. Your second point is correct. To summarize Kenyesians economics as spending money you don't have is extremely ignorant and simplistic. The guy in the video is essentially a shock jock who uses one liners and catch phrases. He reminds me of Penn from Penn and Teller
I've posted this numerous times and not one single liberal has been able to argue against the truth of it.
LOL, thanks swagger. I thought about posting this gem of Klavn's after seeing libs jump on him without even watching the video or getting to a point they do not want to hear. Liberals who are disagreed with= "shut up." HAHAHAHAHAHA
We already have death panels. Its called not having health insurance. If you make 22K in a job with no health insurance you will not be able to afford the premiums and have a far higher chance of dying.
Yes hospitals have to treat you as you lay dying. No caregiver is required to help you before that. Then again we have too large a population of useless low skill people anyway.
My in-laws were on medicaid and I called my MIL the million dollar woman, she had every operation you could name. They were helped. Now with Obamacare the doctors will be told who is too old and they can't operate on them, it's not worth it. My MIL would have been dead ten to fifteen years before she died. She would have been on the "ignore" list.
"a" and "b" are absolutely correct.
Don't like facts?
I take it you get your facts from the right wing political groups.

neither of them are strictly anything. both of them are influenced by keynesian, austrian, and neoclassical economics.

ha, i literally never made it past :21. It is hard to rebound from two propagandist statements in the first 20 seconds of your video.
he reminded me of that other guy they always post here, the really smarmy guy who talks in front of a white background. I forget his name. I think it's Bill something. When he's not making factual errors, he's setting up strawmen.
Not literarily. A former liberal now recovered Klavin is a successful author and screenwriter.
Exactly .. Former *******s turned Conservative are some of the best and most enlightened among us ...
Reagan comes to mind ..
Oh and another thing I've noticed lately is that even some of those who might belong to the Obama minion hordes these days are sort of looking at Obama with a suspicious eye .. I mean, C'Mon .. it's a great deal of fun to talk about socialism .. but to actually having to live it? .. No Thanks
In other words .. they are finding that talking the talk is not quite like walking the walk.

Our country is going to move in that direction and I agree and think it is about time we have a discussion about death. The good book says " it is apointed for man to live and then the judgement" why should tax payers foot the bill when the out come is written in stone.
My step father had a operation costing over a hundred thousand and chemo after wards and lived a whole whopping 5 months longer. With our countries debt and programs becoming unsubstainable some tough choices are going to have to be made and I welcome it. Forcing people to live and spending massive amounts of money to keep them alive will be a thing of the past.
