There are atrocities going on in Syria right now with thousands of innocent civilians being slaughtered, yet the U.S would rather risk American lives and spend billions of dollars to be Israels big brother and attack Iran. Does anyone see something wrong with this picture? Just yesterday I saw a video from Syria of innocent Postal Service workers being thrown off a roof one by one with a jeering crowd waiting down below. These are innocent workers being slaughtered. Where's the U.N intervention?

As for the Israel/Iran conflict. Let Israel fight thier own battle. They have a mightier army than Iran and can surely protect themselves while dealing a huge blow to Iran. Who the hell are we to pick and choose who can or can not posess nuclear capabilities anyway? There are far more dangerous countries that have nuclear capabilites. Funny how we only have interest in attacking oil rich countries.

The US "didn't interfer" in Egypt either or so our Government says.

Do you honestly think the US will go up against Russia ?
No, we only prey on countries where we can take down the dictator....um..I mean where the "rebels wanting democracy" can take down the dictator easily.

Think covert when it comes to Syria. You think we were not IN Libya when it went down ?
You think those "rag tag rebels" were educated on their own to form a central bank and oil company before they took over ?

Obama has to keep things relatively calm on the foreign front prior to November. Do not rock the boat.

Well, maybe the Syrians don't have an AIPAC-type organization filling the coffers of members of Congress.

Do you think Israel will wait till after Nov to strike? From what I'm hearing, Netanyahu is ready to give the order VERY SOON.

That is something not in Obama's hands. He doesn't want Israel to strike nor should he, practically speaking. Obama is busy campaigning.

He's been ready to give the order VERY SOON for a few years now. I just yawn and pay it no mind. The Israeli's aren't fools. Hitting Iran will be a nightmare scenario, and their chances of success aren't good. If it were so easy, Israel would've done it already. Now they're just talking it to death.

There are atrocities going on all over the world, are we supposed to be the world's police force?

Syria's neighbors are taking care of what's in their backyard, why do we need to do it for them?
