what??!!
This jerk and his ass hole boss does not diserve any respect!!
I am thrilled this guy stood up and said no!
As a small business owner I would have done the same thing!
We work our asses off 365 days a year and the slime obama says we did not build our companies?
He can kiss my ass!
This does my heart good I am going to place an order this week end!
I hope the hate maker obama wakes up
people are sick of him, his hacks, whores, and hirelings!
nice, impressive language!
Amazing that you work your a** off 365 days a year and yet you have plenty of time to read and post on an internet political forum.
Point is that YOUR TAX DOLLARS were not and are not the only tax dollars used to provide that infrastructure.......TAX DOLLARS WHICH COME FROM OTHER PEOPLE, NOT YOUR RELATIVES, PAID FOR THAT INFRASTRUCTURE TOO. See how that works?
while you think you're making some sort of point grabbing at straws while trying, businesses and success were around in America for hundreds of years before the federal government created the interstate freeway system. It's only 60ish years old btw and already crumbling.
Federal gasoline taxes fund block grants to state and local governments to maintain an build them still. Which is an excise tax and no one with a functioning brain disputes the correlation between federal gasoline taxes and roads.
It's implying that people who worked hard for their business aren't something special and everything they've created "someone else" did that, someone else being the government.
People created roads, government socialized it (by definition). Again people with functioning brains understand that's a reasonable thing for government to provide with reasonable excise taxes.
But people who think taxing private business at some ridiculous 65% rate or something is good are just as crazy as people who think all roads should be private and tolled.
You are really taking this to the extreme, my friend. We all know what Obama meant. Yet, his minions try to convince us he meant something else. This has happened time and again.
Trust me, Elijah could come down on a cloud and tell me to believe an altered version of what I know to be the truth, and it won't change my mind. So have at it if you want.
You people who feel you need Obama as your savior -- your business. Leave me out of it.

I don't need nor have a "savior" thank you.
I wouldn't dream of trying to change your mind; clearly it is so rigidly fixed, any change would crack and destroy it. Go ahead and enjoy your ego trip.
It's the smell of the pathetic desperation coming from the left as they realize people are turning on their Obamessiah in droves and it smells f-ing great!

Ah-ha. You need to feel "special." Just because you had help (the infrastructure which you did not single-handedly build) in creating a business which you refuse to acknowledge doesn't mean that you are "less special" for building a business.
making the case for higher taxes, President Obama, in his own words, says that 'someone' helped you. In context he is implying that "someone" is a collectivist government and that business owners owe it to others to pay much higher taxes.
It amazes me that folks cannot understand that Obama is pandering more of his "benevolent federal government" pablum with this propaganda. He is talking about how minority businesses got loans; he is talking about how unions "got the back of the workin' man;" he is talking out and out collectivism -- that no one "individual" should be successful in his own right, as it took the labor of many to make that one man successful. It took the collective.
What he doesn't talk about is . . . how that one man is having to fork over 5 months of his check every year, to pay for the "collective" that is sitting on their asses, waiting for their gubment checks.
So for those of us out here, busting our butt, that collective Obama is so fond of - is an albatross around our necks. And of course those folks are going to want to support their guy. Who doesn't love Santa Claus . . . and Santa doesn't leave you gifts if you don't believe in him.

No. You must need to see an ears, nose, and throat specialist to have your nose checked. Do you have health insurance?
Still taking away time from your 365-day-a-year schedule working your butt off to keep that business going so you can post on the internet about Obama?
his time, his prerogative.. 365 days doesn't mean 24hour days.
leisure is for working folks too you know.
