That all depends. It would be racist if all 95 percent of whites voted for Romney just for the sole purpose of his skin, then yes that would be racist.
But if all 95 percent voted for him because they think he is better than Obama, then no.

Why are they perceived that way?

Another question...do you believe gays, due to the historical oppression of gays, have more of a common bond then heterosexuals?

The fact is my statements that historically oppressed groups tend to bond tighter than the mainstream culture is pretty much widely accepted by sociologists and political scientists.

Better check your history. It was the democratic party that supported slavery... now the democratic party have created a different way to hold them back.

Well those are my personal feelings....I can't really speak for all the other black people in America until I attend my Black America meeting next week.

I agree with you here. What I've encountered, especially on THIS forum, is that people of a certain group believe that black people ONLY vote based on skin color. There can be no other reason, no other explanation, which to me means that certain people, especially on THIS forum, think that black people aren't intelligent enough to think.

Sure there are some black people who voted for him because he's black just like there's some who refused to vote for him just because he's black but to sit here and say "black people are stupid" and then pretend you're not is beyond offensive.

The democratic party back then were the republicans, but you already knew that. The reason why 85% of African Americans don't vote or the GOP is because of he insults, you can not go around telling people they live in a plantation, they can't think for themselves and calling them freeloaders and expect for them to vote for you. It's common sense really..

To whomever left the following note in the rep point you just gave me--"yes, because it took a single AA candidate for them to come out & actually vote"--here's some advice.

1. Support your claim with evidence that all black people in this country failed to vote in a presidential election prior to 2008.

2. Stop being a coward and post your thoughts in the actual thread.

And of course you continue to spread the lie.

The Lie that the Racist/Democratic party spreads .. through the likes of Sharpton and Jackson .. to this day!
