5 years old?

"Nils Pickert's 5 year old son likes wearing dresses. If anyone thinks that's odd they can take it up with Nils. He's the guy in the skirt.

The German dad has become a role model not only for his son, but for parents around the world, after a photograph of the pair holding hands in red skirts, spread across the internet.
"Yes, I'm one of those dads, that tries to raise their children equal," he explained in an essay published alongside the photo in Emma, a German feminist magazine."

I think it's fantastic! People should be able to wear what makes them comfortable regardless of what gender it 'belongs' to. There was a stink when women started wearing pants, and there will probably be a stink when men start wearing dresses.

Of course, men used to wear dresses all the time, and in some cultures it's quite prevalent. Wearing a dress is pretty comfy, and I think it's kind of mean to keep that from 50% or so of the population.

If a man wants to wear a dress, more power to him, but the vast majority of men aren't going to look very good that way......

When I was in college, there was a football player in my Organic Chemistry class that used to wear sarongs. He said it was more comfortable and easier to get around in...considering he was around 6'5 and 260 nobody bothered him about it, and I will say.....his rear end did look quite good in that skirt

Stories like this always make me wonder where the kid got the idea to wear a dress in the first place. Usually it's a parents expeirment in non-gender child rearing who really don't know what that even means.

The father could protect his son by not taking him out of the house dressed like a girl.

What a dumb father.
