Have seen so much bashing of Ryan's plan to more privatize Medicare by having people purchase plans that are managed by private insurance companies. Heard a lot of people claim that govt is able to provide the health insurance cheaper than private insurance companies.

If this is true, then why has there been no outcry in heavily democratic NY about Gov Cuomo's(D) plan to privatize medicaid by having for profit companies manage medicaid? Isn't this basically Ryan's plan? Yet nary a word about it by NY Democrats.

A further similarity between the parties: corporations make out well. Look at all the $ private insurance will make under Obamacare: 30 millions customers given to them on a silver platter.

At least the Republicans stare you in the face when they stab you, the Democrats whisper sweet nothings into your ear, then stab you in the back.
