What are we accomplishing in the Middle East? (Congress, Iran, soldiers)

You'd have to ask Obama -- he's sending 4000 more soldiers from the military base near me to Afghanistan -- many who will be killed obviously.

I sure don't know why he's sending them -- maybe he thinks the WMD are really in Afghanistan or something.

I think that's a very good idea. The Mexicans obviously don't want to live in Mexico or do anything for their country, they're hell-bent on getting to the USA -- so maybe one decent size border state like Chihuahua could be given to Israel.

I was watching a show on the Travel Channel the other day filmed in Laos, the amount of ordnance still being found and still killing/maiming civilians 30+ years after Nixon's illegal raids is amazing. And that had nothing to do with protecting much of anything.
