why aren't we doing more to ensure that our troops votes get counted in each election? The cases of uncounted absentee ballots from our troops is documented and much more real than any proof of widespread voter fraud.

Since the military vote is in a large part Republican it would have more than made up for the few instances of voter fraud, either real or imaginary. Also, it would have been a much better public image and cost far less.

Now, this year, the number of absentee ballots requested is substantially down. Some of the problem seems to be the amount of time that it takes to receive requests, for the states to send out the ballots, and the speed of return.

just give it up. republicans will never change their stance on this issue. They are convinced there is this mass voter fraud, when in reality, if minorities as a collective group didn't influence the election, they wouldn't give a damn about all this voter fraud that apparently goes on.

I don't think the leadership is that stupid. IT isn't that they actually think its an issue. . .its that they know this is a way to ensure certain states go their way.

Only the bleating sheep watching fox news are convinced of the issue, the leadership knows better.

Just curious why no one is addressing this problem, on either side.

Nah there is no voter fraud. Just ask Sam Giancana and Mayor Daly.

I don't see this as a "spending" issue. I believe it's noble to spend on both voter fraud inititatives as well as absentee ballot initiatives.

Was this some sort of veiled stab at Republicans instead of a sincere question about military voter participation? Sure seems like it.
