Anyone is allowed to have their opinions, but expressing bigotry is not part of the military values.

Some credible links would be nice.

You think
None of this has a damn thing to do with Obama.

Chaplains are officers, and they're charged with following "direct orders." So telling them to get with the policy or resign is EXACTLY what the Pentagon is supposed to do.

Obama doesn't set Navy policy relative to bunkmates on ships. That's far beneath his purview.

And saying that this isn't the same as integration is right. Integration was FAR MORE difficult to implement than this is.

There is a reason why they were forbidden to come out.

Just as in integration this will pass and in 10 years or so all reasonable people will look back and ask why did it take the military to long to accept gays.

For once in your life try serving in the military and being around the men and women who defend your rights.

Guarantee you all your notions of "special treatment" go right out the window.

Case in point - I served with several shipmates who were homosexual yet in the 4 year time period I was on my ship, not a single incident involving them ever occurred. Coincidentally, the only homosexual incident we've had was from a cook who happened to be heterosexual.

Figure that one out, hot shot.

What reason is that? I await your expert analysis on the military doctrine and regulations since you seem to know so much about it.

Dislike and disgust do not equal bigotry and hatred.
Or do you equate a vegetarian's disdain for butchers to be bigotry and hatred?
