Is there any doubt about the direction of how extremist Islamists discriminate against Christians or about what direction the Arab Spring in Egypt is taking?
Christians have always been persecuted throughout the 2,000 year history, so this is not something new.
Christians have been bashed and attacked in Israel, and churches have been bombed in Islamic countries. During WWI, millions of Christian Armenian and Assyrians were killed by Ottoman Empire (Turks). Muslims have killed priests and other people inside churches in the Middle East. Persecution of Christian minorities is happening in daily basis :/
God sees everything, and they will all be punished!

Just don't expect ultra-liberals to show sympathy towards Christians, especially since it's Muslims who are doing the persecution and attacks.

Christians were persecuted under Mubarak. This isn't new, but I expect it'll get worse.
Most American Christians will be too busy fighting this year's War Against Christmas to care about the truly persecuted in Egypt [and other countries].

But Mubarak was able to keep them in line somewhat. Now they are set loose and the Brotherhood will not do anything to help them. It is worse now than under Mubarak.
