The way U.S. Rep. Allen West relates to women has become an issue in his election campaign against Democrat Patrick Murphy.
And Murphy’s been hammering away at GOPer West in TV commercials.
So far, they have included: West’s alleged opposition to basic health care for women; West’s contention that “all of these women that have been neutering American men and bringing us to the point of this incredible weakness;” and a depiction of West punching women in the face.
So, what’s really in Allen West’s mind when it comes to women?

A letter handwritten by West and addressed to his wife during his tour as Army lieutenant colonel in Iraq in 2003 could provide an insight.
The missive, exclusively obtained by Gossip Extra, shows in details about how West feels about, and what he wants to do with, Dr. Angela West, his wife and a doctor in education who sits as a trustee on the board of Florida Atlantic University.
Gossip Extra has chosen to withhold publication of the letter because of its nature.
But in it Allen West, who wrote it days before he became entangled in an incident of torture that cost him his military career, shows himself to be a romantic at times, telling Angela: “I miss you and cannot wait to see you.”
He humbly tells her that, although he doesn’t compare physically to the male models of the movie Soul Food, he will always do his best to always be “a clean cut, healthy and affectionate man!”
At other times, the Christian conservative tea party candidate – who’s running for a district that stretches along the coast from Palm Beach Gardens to Fort Pierce – gets a little more, shall we say, daring!
The congressman proceeds tells his wife he expects certain intimate acts upon his return that will be “the standard and it is non-negotiable.”
He tells her: “From now on, you will wear two-piece swim suits when on vacations.”
Then: “Angela, I need to know, are you committed to being my porn star?
“I do not want to hear ‘no’ or ‘we’ll see about that.’ I want my fantasies to be with you. God has authorized you and you only as my partner for intimacy and that is what I want.”
And he signs off: “Get ready!”
Allen didn’t comment on the letter. Angela didn’t respond to a message left on her voice mail.

There is nothing like a GOP sex scandal close to an election. I remember the crop of GOP sex scandals leading up to the 2006 mid-terms. It was a windfall for the Democrats.
I dont think the problem is that he is asking her to do it. My issue is that she does not have a choice in the matter. She will do as he says or else ....

it is not a sex scandal. It is some news that went out today, but shows you how some politics see women.
As a female, married or not, I would like to have a saying on which acts to perform or have performed or me. I would not like to have my partner to demand sexual acts.... I should have a saying too.
And God has nothing to do with it.
