BC is indeed under $1. You obviously missed the link I provided in post #188.
No I didn't. You are purposefully misusing birth control to mean condoms and you know fully well, that is ONLY one form of birth control. Please show us that birth control pills are under $1 a month, for a full 30 day cycle.

Yes, BC can fail. Are you suggesting everyone who is sexually active should be sterilized then?
that is your words. not mine. I live in reality where BC fails and mistakes happen. why should we punish anyone who were responsible by taking the initiative to take birth control, but their birth control method or methods fail?
My aunt still got pregnant, despite being on the pill, and her husband used condoms anytime they had sex. The doctor's told her that she could not get pregnant during the time she was going through chemo.
Are you saying that people shouldn't have SEX at all if they don't plan on having a child? What about married couples that choose not to have children?

I am doing nothing of the kind. The article referenced and the topic of this thread is "Free birth control cuts abortion rate dramatically, study finds". Where does it say only birth control pills? I suppose you think everyone on SNAP should be entitled to lobster dinners every night?

We shouldn't "punish" anyone. However, most actions have consequences, potential consequences and/or unexpected consequences. Being responsible, (your word in this instance), doesn't necessarily end with popping pills or donning a condom.

I am saying people who have sex need to accept responsibility for their own actions. Taxpayers should not have to pay for their choices.

Bringing unwanted kids in the world is irresponsible.
It is punishment to force a woman to go through a pregnancy that is not wanted. It is responsible for her to abort.
Anything that can cut down on the number of babies murdered is a good thing. California murdered over 200,000 children in 2008 alone. America had killed more people than Hitler and Stalin combined. I am deeply ashamed of this country and it's people who so cold heartedly support this atrocity.

Good!
Someone from the "other side"with some common sense!
While I disagree with you about the term "murdered," I am thrilled to see that we apparently agree about the overall benefits of free birth control and the fact that it means fewer abortions.

Yeah, but the crime rate has decreased dramatically. So you have at least one good reason to be proud of the country, haven't you?
