You just never get the facts right, do you?

The trend is very definitely upwards despite your desire for America's economy to fail. You're unpatriotic hatred of America disgusts me.
I truly wish it was getting better but Solis fudged the numbers. Isn't it ironic that obama has this country 23 million in debt and grants amnesty for millions of illegals who will legally take more jobs from us? Isn't it rotten that we have 1 million plus foreclosures every year under obama? Isn't that enough to make you puke?

If the economy is booming, I'd like to see the large drop in numbers on food stamps and Medicaid. Time to cut the poverty programs if the economy is truly back on track.

Actually it was the 582,000 part time jobs that made the rate go down.

Part time jobs is the recovery.

Ignorance is your best virtue.

Over the past 3 years, weekly first time filers for UE have been in the 360,000-400,000 range. That is every week. This past week was no different. People get UE benefits for 99 weeks, thanks to our President. Had he not jumped it up to 99 weeks, we would have UE numbers in the low 2% by now.

So, we have 380,000 weekly with about 4 weeks in a month. 1.5 million lose their job each month, give or take... right
We agree on that? If not, speak up!

Then you have monthly jobs created. 60,000-150,000 reported each month. Many of them government jobs & part time help. There are some good jobs in there too.
Do we agree, 60,000-150,000 jobs per month have been created? If not, speak up!

1.5 million per month first time filers for unemployment, not including the self employed that have no work.
then let us subtract the (let's be generous here) 150,000 that found work.
Do we agree this is the simple math equation? If not, speak up!

In 2 years of this, how many citizens are out of work? (let's be generous here) 30 million citizens. About 10% of the population. This does not include our children, that are trying to enter the work force.

The only way for UE numbers to even go down with those calculations, is to go back to my first paragraph. People have exhausted their UE benefits and fallen off the governments dole(a good thing for tax payers that are working) and statistics.

Only a puppet for the party, would be cheering that 1.5 million Americans, lose their job each month, or someone that is very ignorant and blind.

Despite the most desperate wishes of Republicans the economy is picking up steam and the rate of job growth is INCREASING. Sorry, guys, but once again reality is not on your side when you claim we're going back into recession.

Need 150k new jobs each month just to keep up with population growth.

180k new jobs is pathetic.

Reagan averaged just under 300K/month during 1983 and 1984.

No small feat considering the population was one third less then than it is today.

To move the unemployment numbers the way Reagan did, we would need to create 400k jobs each month.

Obama sucks!

Or at the very least, isn't it enough to make you not vote for him? Obama asked companies not to do lays until after the election, he is also willing to pay companies legal fees as workers will sue for not being given appropriate notice before lay offs. What a caring men.

The only manipulation I see is someone using CES data to argue against CPS data. In fact, the BLS publishes both of these surveys. They don't manipulate data, they publish it. Then people, like you, manipulate the data to fit their partisan worldview.

However, if you want to play this game, then so be it. Lets disregard the CPS data and use CES data. CES data clearly shows the largest gains with regards to employment since the trough (re: first table on page one).

Now,what do you have say?
