Even though some days I do think I'm stupid, at least I don't take any info I'm fed by the media on face value. Question everything.

To question anything is not the modern American way...unless the questions are about celebrities or sports.

No, I don't believe the American people are "stupid", just slow to anger.

We train our people to trust authority. Any and all authority. This includes parents, teachers, police, coaches, priests, youth counselors, politicians and presidents. We teach ourselves to trust these authorities even when they assault, molest, rob and betray us. We are taught to believe we are incapable of making our own observations and decisions.

Are Americans stupid? I do not believe so but I do believe we are trained to follow people we should not trust. We need to look at what is really happening and who is paying and who is being paid. Then we should decide whom we should trust. Just because some con man says he knows the word of god or why we need a war does not mean that they really do. It only means they are going to benefit from your believing that they do.

I have been criticised for making bad taste jokes, so I do understand macmeal, it's irresistible.
