Neither of you is inclined to ever pass up on this standard thread type around here. We get tons of these.
Somebody does something bad, try to portray them as representative of all (insert opposing political faction).
Just this week we had the drunk lady say not to arrest me I'm republican thread and of course the teacher that got after the girl wearing the romney shirt....and many many more.
Then we get 8-10 pages of partisan bickering where of course the OTHER side is the hypocrit and blah blah blah.
But it always interesting in these cultural threads about Islam, just who is deflecting and defending bad behavior from Muslims, libs or cons.
I don't think this is a Lefties OR Righties issue, this is a right vs wrong issue.
The teacher is wrong, If they want to pray to allah 5 times a day they need to say their "hail mahhamad's" in private, and the fact that the teacher is "indoctrinating" the students means the teacher should be replaced, fired for cause.

Below is a very telling key piece of info that I believe is why their local news are ignoring this story of a teacher assaulting students and forcing them to learn Islam in a math class.
"Harris has a disturbing trend of “indoctrinating” students with Islamic teachings. She also said the teacher openly campaigns for President Barack Obama in the classroom."
This story sounds eerily similar to the Fox News story that accused the President and First Lady of giving each other "terrorist fist bumps". Right wingers are practically obsessed with the thought of a Muslim boogeyman coming to get them.
Right, all those dyslexics are merely just stupid, right?
