Obviously....you fall under that category.
Please point out where I said that.
I'll wait.

"Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee are out with a new radio ad in the state, focusing specifically on GOP candidate Todd Akin and calling him "too conservative" for the state — which, given that he's still in a competitive three-way GOP primary, seems aimed at actually elevating him in the race."
1st paragraph from your link...bolded word is subjective, not an absolute.

Why else would she run ads about him before the primary, particularly when he was not the frontrunner at the time (I believe he was second or third in most polls)?

She wanted to run against him because she knew she was going to lose if she ran against Steelman or Brunner.

My point was, in your link the key words was seems, not "we have proof".
That would be conjecture on the part of the writers of the article.
People can throw conjecture about all day long, just look at some of the more ridiculous threads on this forum.

So you are going to hand your entire lame argument on parsing what the word "seems" actually means?

Meanwhile, you IGNORE the entire article that points to the OBVIOUS revelation that Democrats spent money to make sure Akin got the nomination?

That even though the TITLE of the article spells it all out to you?

Democrats spent $1.5 mil to help Akin win GOP primary

Now THAT is what is really ridiculous.

The definition of a word is what it is, no matter what you might think.

seems3rd person singular present of seem (Verb)

Verb:
  • Give the impression or sensation of being something or having a particular quality: "Dawn seemed annoyed".
  • Used to make a statement or description of one's thoughts, feelings, or actions less assertive or forceful.
