Oh lookee, another GOP politician trivializes rape:

GOP hopeful: 'Rape thing' not cause for abortion - seattlepi.com

Quote:
Koster twice uses the phrase "the rape thing" when describing his views, first saying that he knows a woman who was raped and gave up the child for adoption without any regrets.

"But on the rape thing, it's like, how does putting more violence onto a woman's body and taking the life of an innocent child that's a consequence of this crime, how does that make it better?" Koster said in the exchange.

John Koster, GOP House Candidate: 'The Rape Thing' Does Not Excuse Abortions

Quote:
His Democratic opponent, Suzan DelBene, supports abortion rights. Her campaign criticized Koster for trivializing rape.

"Dismissing it as a 'thing' is an awfully casual way for him to talk about it, and I think it highlights how little he understands the ramifications and the seriousness of the issue. So that's very problematic," DelBene spokesperson Viet Shelton told TPM. "And the way he approaches the issue and the policy conclusions he comes to, it just highlights the serious problem we have when politicians are trying to dictate women's health care decisions."

And these are these are the "leaders" people vote for. With every mouth breather in the GOP who opens his yap about rape, shows exactly why they are a party who are not in touch with modern times

.0000000001% shouldn't sway the vote for 100% abortions.

Which the Sanctity Of Life Act, backed by Ryan, would ban.

As would a myriad of other personhood bills trumped by Republicans.

Easy fix, don't elect freaking morons, no matter which party they belong to.

Unfortunately, liberals will always vote for other liberals, no matter how many stupid freaking things they say, case in point Joe Biden.
