Whenever disaster strikes, the right wingers always come out guns blazing with ridiculous trash to politicize and blame "da libs" and hurricane Sandy is no exception. Here's the top 5 tinfoil conspiracies from the right wingers:

#5 A right wing evangelical pastor says Sandy was caused by the gays, and that Obama is "100% behind the muslim brotherhood"

"Obama is 100 percent behind the Muslim Brotherhood which has vowed to destroy Israel and take Jerusalem. Both candidates are pro-homosexual and are behind the homosexual agenda. America is under political judgment and the church does not know it!"

Conservative Christians Blame the Gays for Hurricane Sandy :: EDGE Boston

#4, The World Nut Daily claims Sandy was caused by god because he's mad at the way Obama has been handling Isreal.

WorldNet Daily Continues to Pump Out Outrageous Propaganda | Southern Poverty Law Center

#3, Obama did it! The far right nutcase Alex Jones' propaganda site inforwars is reporting that Obama caused Sandy to happen.

"As Hurricane Sandy blasts the eastern seaboard just over a week before Election Day, a number of conspiracy theorists have decided President Barack Obama engineered the mega-storm to secure his re-election.
InfoWars.com, TheIntelHub.com, and ConsfearacyNewz all posted stories over the last several days alleging that the The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, or HAARP, helped the president engineer Sandy."

#2, It's a liberal conspiracy to take yurrrrr gunnnnnzzzz!!

A far right wing NRA nutcase went on where else, Beck to discuss how Sandy is a liberal conspiracy to take away your guns.

And the #1 most insane right wing tinfoil conspiracy over hurricane Sandy,......drum roll please,...

Sandy was caused to allow Obama to hide the October job's report because it is so bad it would cost him the election!

If the storm was engineered for Obamas reelection wouldn't he have wanted to plant it on Florida?

Can't wait for the resident C-D nut cases to add their justifications to this thread while decrying how brainwashed the rest of us are for not realizing what is really going on.

I am always surprised how many of them seem to be out there - but then again, I NEVER meet them in real life. Perhaps they are really just an online phenomenon or they feel encouraged when they find themselves in like-minded company.

At any rate, I am certain that we will hear about HAARP, the NWO, how homosexuality is an abomination, that the main-stream media is controlling us all, that liberals are gullible and morally corrupt, and that the end is near.

FYI - Alex Jones isn't a "far right" nutcase. He's just a nutcase. His nuttiness isn't driven by politics, and his conspiracies center on "the government," regardless of who's in control.

The rest of your post had a lot of other factual issues, as your posts usually do, but this went beyond twisting and is simply a flat-out falsehood that I thought should be corrected.

You can attack me now, as you usually do, and I'll ignore your playground nonsense, as I usually do. Just thought you might want to let a ray of truth into your brain for a change.

An acquaintance of mine is exactly like these nutcases. in his 30's, still lives with his mom, can't keep a job, watches fox and complains about "da libs" all day, every day on twitter with laughable tinfoil craziness.

They are out there, or just put on a sane face when in public and bring out their true nutcase selves on the internet.

Either way it's just downright insanity the mindset of those on the radical right.

So you know one person like this... And how are your biased blame rants on here -- that basically come across just as bad as that guy supposedly is except from the opposite side of the political spectrum -- supposed to help anything?

News flash -- anytime a major natural disaster happens, the crazies and those wanting attention come out with crazy theories. Case in point, hurricane Katrina. And you must have missed Al Gore trying to blame Sandy on global warming again, which is so convenient for his TV network, movies and other financial interests.

I hadn't heard any of this rubbish you posted until now, it's not going around in mainstream GOP circles despite what you'd love to think in your extremely biased mind.

What is sad is that some of the sites mentioned are often posted as 'proof' for whatever bazaar claims RWNJ's want to post on here.

If not global warming/climate change then how do you explain 2 hurricanes hitting the north east in 2 years ? Something that has not happened in a VERY VERY LONG TIME ?

Weather. It happens. Just because it has not happened in a long time does not mean it's global warming or climate change causing it.
