Moderates stand for nothing, and are the reason nothing gets done.

Or maybe "moderates" just stand for a set of ideas that isn't classifiable as "liberal" or "conservative?"

I agree!

Q: What do moderates and roadkill have in common?

A: They're both seen doing nothing, in the middle of the road

The biggest problem with being a moderate or centrist, is that you actually have to think for yourself. Come to your own conclusions based upon rational arguments instead of merely relying upon script. Be a person left leaning or right, many only have to lean upon the wall of their parties platform, point to the opposition and oppose and condemn it for only being different than your view. This removes any need to think, or put forth effort and allows for the dulling of the mind and the bulging of the belly. While blissful this might be, it does little to idea of progress and allows for the division of people to divert attention away from serious issues.

Moderates and centrist have to walk that fence as many speak, and they do so often with their views condemned by both sides furthering the need to better argue their positions. The greatest irony is that the majority of America is far more moderate, but lacks the courage to stand on their own and without the vast armies of allies that our two view system has in place today. Who would have thought there would be a day when it was seen as unfashionable to come to ones own conclusions drawn from the views of both sides.

Judging by the list provided I guess that leaves the Secular Conservatives and Paleoconservatives off the hook. That is good to know.

From their website:

Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.

They are not "100% funded by Soros" otherwise they wouldn't have a "donate" option on the site. They also provide exact quotes, audio/video clips (and in clips minutes long to get the full context, even if in reference to a one sentence statement).

Liberal, yes.

Liars, hell no.

They certainly don't "pump out fake info" to anyone. Have you ever looked through their site, or has the majority of your opinion been in the "rebuttal" portion of Limbaugh or Oreilly's self defending statements?

Extremists on both sides of the political spectrum. I agree with TNhilltopper. Moderation is often a voice of reason-that stands for something -not blindly following the rhetoric of the Right or Left.
